Let the Shepherd Lead

I want to introduce a new section to my blog called Thankful Tuesday. Here are five things I am thankful for from this weekend.

1. I am thankful to have been at the CEF training to prepare leaders for the Good News Clubs. I am looking forward to volunteering at the Pine Street club.
2. I am thankful that Tom Sylvia was able to join us from El Paso and update us on their church planting efforts.
3. I am thankful for the John Rutter edition of “For the Beauty of the Earth” our choir presented at the anthem. His arrangements consistently present familiar pieces/texts in extremely memorable settings that move my soul.
4. I am thankful for our new members who joined on Sunday! Pray with me for the Heath family to find a Sunday School Class where they can continue to seek Jesus.
5. I am thankful for the couple who wanted to publically celebrate their wedding vows with our congregation Sunday after services.
